Happy Father's Day

Widhing my dad a very Happy Father's Day today. Thank you for being there for me through the fun times, happy times, sad times and tough times. You have taught me so much about myself and life over the past 30 years. I couldn't have asked for a better dad. I'm glad I got to spend time with you not long ago. I greatly enjoyed our visit and time together. Also wishing my father-in-laws a happy Father's Day. Thank you for being there to support hubby and me and thank you for raising such a wonderful person who I call my husband. Also thinking of my grandfather who is in heaven this year. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I hope your telling lots of jokes and winning at one of your card games.

June is here, but summer isn't

Wow I sure haven't been around in this little space for quite some time ( thanks to my best friend for noticing). I feel like with the changes to blogging apps and my inability to post from an app I used to, I just don't post as often anymore. I have so much to talk about and catch up on! We've been in our new home for almost a year now (Reno pictures to come), hubbs and I just got back from an awesome unplanned, adventure of a vacation, and my family came out to visit for a week. I'll be sure to post some further updates on these topics shortly.

The weather has been so chilly here, it just doesn't want to warm up. I'm hoping summer decides to show up soon.
